At OXITIA, electronic signatures have become a business driver
Based near Toulouse, OXITIA handles digitisation and cybersecurity projects for its clients (companies and municipalities). This is what prompted OXITIA to look for a software product that would enable electronic signing of documents and set it up for its clients. The goal? Initially, OXITIA was trying to find a way to meet the needs of one of its clients, an asset manager. The process of gathering all the necessary signatures was cumbersome: some documents could be up to 30 pages long, and each page had to be initialled in addition to the signature at the end. Each file contained a lot of documents. The time needed to send out documents in the mail and await their return was long, out of their control, and resulted in documents getting lost. Furthermore, filing and storing all those documents was a whole other challenge: the client had an entire room filled with filing cabinets. The added complications brought about by the pandemic only made matters worse.
For Benjamin Larroque, that was the last straw. “From our point of view, it was clearly high time that we switch to electronic signatures. We knew the software existed, but our clients did not yet feel the need to adopt it. But then, with the pandemic, the stars aligned for a full-scale trial.”

Most of the team members have adopted the software and now use it every day, and our client satisfaction rate is 100%. At the same time, we have undertaken a campaign to convert all our existing documents to digital format. So far, we have got through 20% of our contracts.
